Stoney's Play Of The Day: The Makings Of A 7-6 Game

Yesterday's decisions to ride Francisco Liriano's left arm paid off as the Pirates defeated the Nationals 7-3 for the fourth winner in a row.

Tonight it's a matchup between former teammates as the Tigers Justin Verlander meets Rick Porcello at Fenway Park.  Their combined earned run average's in their last three starts is over 15.

The over has hit in all of Verlander's six starts this season. Porcello is coming off a loss in Anaheim when he did only give up two earned runs,but I am sorry this one has the makings of 7-6 game.

With that in mind, I am taking the over 9 runs at Fenway tonight.
