97.1 The Ticket has teamed up with Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day to Benefit Children's Miracle Network Kids at Beaumont Children's Hospital. Stop by any Dairy Queen Thursday, July 26, in the metro Detroit area for a rare summer blizzard. More specifically, it will be a day of Dairy Queen Blizzard treats to benefit area children. For the sixth consecutive year, Dairy Queen's Miracle Treat Day invites people to come out to area stores, enjoy a cold, refreshing ice cream treat and raise funds for services and equipment for hospitalized children.
Participating Dairy Queens in Metro Detroit will donate proceeds from the sale of each Blizzard Treat sold that day to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Southeast Michigan's representative, the Beaumont Children's Hospital. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a charity that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals across the United States and Canada and ensures that when a donation is made, it stays in the local community, so that every dollar given goes to help local kids.
