SOURCE CODE: Heart-Racing, Non-Stop Action

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Although the plot is entirely different, the new movie, Source Code is reminiscent of the 1993 movie Groundhog Day.

In Groundhog Day, which starred Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell, Murray played the role of 'Phil,' a weatherman who finds himself waking up and reliving the same day over and over and over again.

In Source Code, Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) finds himself reliving the same eight minutes over and over ... and over ... again. However, Stevens is reliving the last eight harrowing minutes of another man's life.

Stevens wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers that he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. He's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a computer program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life.

Source Code is heart-racing, non-stop action from beginning to end. Along with Gyllenhaal, the movie stars Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright. The movie opens in theaters Friday, April 1st.

Source Code is rated PG-13.
