Sportsmanship -- rising above yourself to help someone else, contributing to a higher purpose: That's what really makes sports so special. Believe it or not, watching softball on ESPN sometimes really draws me in. The underhand fast pitch just gets me. Plus if you haven't noticed, there are some really hot softball players.
This past weekend, Florida Southern and Eckerd College took to the field. Eckerd College's Kara Oberer hit a three-run home run and while running the bases, her knee locked up.
