Looking For Love? Don't Rack Up Mountains Of Debt
DETROIT (WWJ) - A new survey has found that heavy debt is a major turnoff in romantic relationships.
Creditcards.com says that according to a poll of 1,000 adults, most women would dump a partner who racked up mountains of debt. That also includes those who couldn't pay bills or lied about being able to handle routine living expenses. Men, on the other hand, are more tolerant and wouldn't be quite so quick to pack up and leave.
The same poll, though, also confirmed what has been known for quite sometime; that financial matters are the top cause of divorce and marital stress.
