Scary Report: Lions' Delmas May Need Surgery

Lions safety Louis Delmas might need surgery to repair his injured groin. According to the Web site Pro Football Talk, that's the concern within the organization.
Delmas, the Lions' star second-year player, missed minicamp in June with the injury and has not practiced since training camp started Saturday.
"He's healed, but he's been behind in conditioning because he didn't have a chance to condition the way that he should have before camp because he was letting his groin heal," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Saturday.
