You have to be a brave person to tackle the job of singing the National Anthem before a sporting event. Thousands of eyes are on you as you pray you hit each note and remember each word. Little Elizabeth Hughes thought she was up for the challenge last Friday. Clutching her pitch pipe for dear life, Elizabeth channeled her inner Susan Boyle at a minor league hockey game in Norfolk, Virginia. As fate would have it, her mic cut out 30 seconds before the end of the song. Total humiliation? Not this time! Everyone in the arena took pity on the tiny songstress and belted out the rest of the words.
