Royal Oak Preview Party Showcases Upcoming Fine Arts Show

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Royal Oak's second annual Market Show and Sale is right around the corner. Hosted in Royal Oak's well-known Farmer's Market, the event attracts artists from around Michigan and Northern Ohio.

On Friday evening, the Farmer's Market is putting on a Preview Party to give guests a sneak peek at the artists who will have work featured during the show. Planned events include a silent auction with items donated by the artists, with a portion of proceeds going to help benefit local charities.

The party will also include sampling from several of Royal Oak's downtown restaurants as well as music from local group Cello-Bella!. Festivities start at 5 p.m.

The fine arts show takes place Friday, March 2nd, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 3rd, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Art work will be for sale in many categories including drawing, painting, photography, jewelry and mixed media.
