Roseville Police On The Hunt After Bizarre Break-In

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) Roseville police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery that terrified a family this week.

Police say the family, including a husband, wife and two children, were watching TV at 10 p.m. Tuesday at their home on Blum Street when two armed men burst in.

The suspects demanded keys to the family car, a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer, and sped off.

"All they did was they told the male homeowner to back up and he did as he was instructed, and they took the car keys and stole the car," said Roseville Police Chief James Berlin.

He added: "They haven't been seen since."

Police say they don't believe the family knew the suspects described only as young men between 18 and 22 years old. They believe the suspects needed to get out of town fast for some reason, but they haven't been able to dredge up any criminal incidents in the immediate area. Investigators are hoping to recover the stolen car.
