Repeat In London Short Circuits By Face Plant

In 2008,American Nastia Liukin won the gold medal for all around gymnastics in the 2008 Summer Olympics. She was trying to become the first defending champion to return to the Olympics and defend her title since Nadia Comaneci in 1980. Unfortunately her bid failed Sunday night in the U.S. Gymnastic trials on the uneven bars when she fell to the mat face first.
Not only did she not make the Olympic team, but the gymnastics career of the 22 year old has come to an end. Here is the video of the ill-timed face plant.
