Red Wings Reassign Pearce To Griffins
Detroit, MI… The Detroit Red Wings today announced that goaltender Jordan Pearce has been reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. Pearce, 25, has dressed in six games for Detroit since being recalled from Grand Rapids on March 16, serving as backup to both Jimmy Howard and Ty Conklin. In 17 appearances with the Griffins this season, Pearce has posted a 3-7-1 record in addition to a 3.53 GAA and an .874 SV%.
Currently in possession of a 46-26-5 record, Detroit will next face the Nashville Predators (44-25-8) on Friday night (7:30 p.m. – FSD + & 97.1 The Ticket) at Joe Louis Arena.
