Recall Alert: Special K Cereal May Contain Glass
DETROIT (WWJ) - Kellogg's is voluntarily recalling its "Special K Red Berries" cereal across the U.S. because it may contain glass fragments.
The 11, 22, and 37-ounce packages of the cereal are affected by the recall.
No injuries have been reported, according to Kellogg's.
"At Kellogg, our number one priority is the quality and safety of our foods. All of our processes will be thoroughly reviewed and appropriate actions will be taken to help prevent this situation from happening in the future," the company said on its website.
Anyone who has purchased the cereal is urged not to eat it and to contact Kellogg's to receive a coupon for a replacement.

Special K sold in Canada is not included in the recall.

If your package is any size other than 11.2, 22.4 or 37 ounces, it is NOT impacted by this recall.
If your package has the letters KXA, KXB, or KXC following the better if used before date, it is NOT impacted by this recall.
