Pumpkin Dropped From Overpass Shatters Glass, Injures Truck Driver
MONROE (WWJ) - Police in Monroe County are searching for the person who dropped a pumpkin from an I-75 southbound overpass, shattering the windshield of a passing semi-truck.
The truck driver was covered in pieces of glass -- and pumpkin -- when police arrived on the scene early Saturday morning.
Investigators think the pumpkin was dropped from the Hurd Road overpass, just north of Monroe.
The truck driver refused medical treatment at the scene.
