HOLLYWOOD (WWJ) - Since the merger of SAG and AFTRA, broadcast journalists now have a vote in who will take home a Screen Actors Guild award.

The casts of Argo, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Les Miserables, Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook are vying to win the award for "Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture".

WWJ producers/reporters participated in an informal survey to find out who they think will win. But, with so much outstanding talent to choose from, predicting who will win is NOT an easy thing to do. Following is a sampling of the debate:

"The characters in Les Miserables did a really outstanding job, but in Silver Linings Playbook, they were just so much more relatable and ... I loved it," said Violet Ikonomova.

"I'm divided," Kathryn Larson said. "I like Lincoln a lot, and I think the cast there really, collectively showed a lot of power and strength in their character development, but I can't get over the comedy Silver Linings Playbook."

And Beth Fisher had this to say: "The top ones in contention in my book are Argo and Lincoln."

As for me, I'm torn between Argo and Silver Linings Playbook.

The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be handed out starting at 8:00 tonight. Catch the Red Carpet arrivals beginning at 6pm.
