Police: Is There A Connection Between Several Recent Armed Robberies?
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - Are there serial armed robbers on the loose?
Sterling Heights police are looking for three men who robbed the RadioShack on Van Dyke near 14 Mile Road Monday. Lt. Luke Riley says the three walked into the store armed with guns, and stole iPhones, Samsung Galaxy's, and money from the cash register.
"Once they had taken everything they wanted to take, they duct taped the customer in the officer and they had duct taped the feet and hands and everything on the employee.... And fled out the back. But they were able to get loose and, of course, notified us,' said Lt. Riley.
Riley says there was a similar incident in Roseville last week.
"We are looking to see if there is any connection to the two," Riley said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
