Police Investigate Robbery, Rape Of 21-Year-Old Man In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man reported that he was robbed and raped at gunpoint in Detroit.
Detroit police confirm the victim was driving home from work early Tuesday morning and was approached at a stop light at Cadieux and Harper by a man at the passenger side window -- tapping the window with a gun.
The victim was told to drive to an ATM where he was robbed of cash withdrawn and then driven to a second location near I-94 and Cadieux, where he was raped.
"They take him to a secluded area somewhere in the city at which point they sexually assault him," Woody told Fox 2.
One suspect is described as dark complected man in his 20s, clean-shaven, 5 feet, 8 inches wearing a pink sweater and white pants.
The suspect left the area of I-94 and Cadieux in a car that was waiting nearby.
