Police Investigate Death Of Woman In Casco Twp.
CASCO TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A St. Clair County man is a person of interest in the shooting death of his live-in girlfriend, the Sheriff's Office says.
Deputies were called to a house on Puttygut Road and found a woman dead inside the home Saturday morning.
Police discovered bullet holes in the side of the house that they said had come from inside.
Police entered the home and found the dead woman's boyfriend was also home - unharmed and drunk.
He has been taken to River District Hospital and is considered a person of interest in the death of the woman.
