Cleveland Police On The Hunt For Man Who Posted Murder On Facebook

CLEVELAND (WWJ) - A disturbing video shows an older man being shot in cold blood on a Cleveland street - which was posted on Facebook - and police are hunting for the killer.

The video shows the suspect approaching  74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr. on Sunday afternoon and killing him.

Suspected in the killing is 37-year-old Steve Stephens. Authorities say he is a black male who is 6-feet 1-inch and weighs 244 pounds. He has a full beard and is bald.

" ...we know who he is and he will eventually be caught ... He need not do any more harm to any other people," said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson during a Sunday evening press conference.

Emergency staffers at the Cleveland Clinic is on standby for mass casualties, CBS affiliate WOIO reports.

Stephens was last seen wearing a dark blue and grey or black striped polo shirt.
Police believe Stephens is driving a white Ford Fusion with a temporary Ohio tag E363630.

He made an unverified claim on a separate Facebook post to have committed other murders in an "Easter Day Slaughter."

They say Stephens may have left Ohio, and they're urging people in Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan to be on the lookout

Authorities consider Stephens very dangerous and ask anyone with any information of his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
