Police Asking For Help Getting Suspect Off The Street

INKSTER (WWJ) - A $2,000 reward is being offered for help finding a man who fled from detectives that had been monitoring a suspected drug deal in Inkster.

Police say they're looking for a Dino Vann - the suspect allegedly hit a cop when he drove off during an incident last week.

"We need the public's assistance to get him off the street," said Michigan State Police Lieutenant Michael Shaw.

"An important reminder to those of you family members or somebody that may be hanging on to Mr. Vann - we'll be looking for you as well for harboring him ... or not turning him over to police."

"Mr. Van usually hangs out in the city of Inkster, he also frequents the Oak Park and the Detroit area," said Shaw.

Police say Vann is a 28-year-old African American male. He's 6'3" and about 200 pounds.
