--When the Pistons acquired Rasheed Wallace at the trade deadline in 2004, they landed the final piece to a championship puzzle. Detroit has barely made a peep at the trade deadline since that three-team blockbuster.
President of basketball operations Joe Dumars has pulled off only two February deals the last six seasons. In 2006, he dealt Darko Milicic and Carlos Arroyo to Orlando for Kelvin Cato and a future first-rounder, which the Pistons eventually used to draft Rodney Stuckey. In 2009, the Pistons dealt little-used Alex Acker to the Los Angeles Clippers for a future second-rounder.
--G Tracy McGrady recorded a season-high 12 assists Wednesday, one shy of his career high, and reached another milestone in the process. He surpassed the 4,000-assist mark for his career and now has 4,002. McGrady scored his 18,000th career point against the Pacers a week earlier.
