Pistons Report: Notes, Quotes

--No matter how much the Pistons slash ticket prices or even give the tickets away, they can't slow the steep decline in attendance. The announced crowd of 11,844 Monday was their lowest this season. Their average of 16,499 ranks 17th in the league. They averaged 18,752 last season after averaging more than 20,000 the previous seven seasons, including a sellout streak of 259 games.

--Statistics bear out the fact that the Pistons don't have an outstanding player. They have had 10 different players lead them in points and rebounds this season, while eight players have led them at least once in assists. Three players have led the club in scoring more than 10 times -- Tayshaun Prince (15), Rodney Stuckey (12) and Ben Gordon (11). Greg Monroe (18) has passed Ben Wallace (17) as the individual game leader in rebounds, and Stuckey (19) and Tracy McGrady (17) have led the team most often in assists.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"They pay for their ticket and they deserve to do what they want to do. We played like (garbage), so they can do what they want." -- Center Ben Wallace after the Pistons were booed off the court Monday.
