Pistons Open At Indiana, Home Opener Vs. Cleveland
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Pistons will open their season at Indiana on Dec. 26. Their home opener is Dec. 28 against Cleveland.
The Pistons released a 66-game, lockout-shortened schedule Tuesday night.
The Pistons host the defending champion Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 10. The Miami Heat come to town Jan. 25 and March 23, and the Los Angeles Lakers visit Auburn Hills on March 6.
Lawrence Frank is taking over as Pistons coach. The former New Jersey Nets coach will face his old team three times in a 10-day span in early February. Detroit plays at New Jersey on Feb. 1 and Feb. 8, and hosts the Nets on Feb. 10.
