Pistons Momentum Stalls Heading Into Break
Most Pistons fans would prefer to skip to the June draft and see if they can get another impact player. The players and coaches don't have that option. There's still 31 games remaining after the All-Star break in another lottery-bound season and they don't want a misery-filled two months.
The Pistons would like to believe they're better than their 11-24 record suggests, but after losing road games to Cleveland and Toronto, they won't be carrying any positive momentum into the second half.
"We've got to be focused and ready to at least try to make a run this second half," center Greg Monroe said. "The season is far from over. There's a lot of games left to be played."
