The issue is not whether Tom Izzo can leave. Of course he can. It's a free country. He has a $500,000 buyout in his contract. If he pays that, he is free as a bird to fly to Cleveland as fast as Cavaliers' owner Dan Gilbert's private jet can get him there.
The issue is whether Izzo should leave.
