So after all the high drama, it turns out Tom Izzo is staying at Michigan State.
It's difficult not to come to the conclusion he made the right decision, not only for Michigan State and the State of Michigan, but for Tom Izzo.
Izzo is the epitome of a college basketball coach. Dropping him into the NBA would have been akin to oil mixing with water. The blend just wasn't there.
