For years, and with absolute justification, the Lions have been roundly criticized for their draft choices.
That was especially true of the way they drafted during the eight ill-fated years Matt Millen was at the wheel of the franchise.
The Lions haven't played good football since Millen was fired, either, but there has at least been a speck of light the end of the tunnel.
