Pastor: Research Shows Voter Fraud Fault Of Clerical Errors Not Voters
DETROIT (WWJ) - Governor Snyder can expect a big protest when he makes an appearance in Detroit next week.
Several groups are planning a march and protest next week as Gov. Rick Snyder speaks in Detroit.
Activist Edwin Rowe, Senior Pastor of Central United Methodist Church, tells WWJ's Pat Sweeting that he is among those opposing legislative attempts to suppress voting with laws requiring voters to show ID.
"They say, well it's about fraud. All these people who are on the rolls, who are dead, ... the bi-partism researchers are saying that 99.9 percent of those folks were on the rolls by clerical error," said Rowe. "There is not extensive voter fraud in the state of Michigan."
Rowe, the coordinator of the event, wonders where the public outrage is?
