Online Tech In Deal For PCI Compliant Hosting

The Ann Arbor managed data center operator Online Tech and Rochester-based payment card industry security consultants High Bit Security LLC Tuesday announced a partnership agreement to deliver secure PCI compliant hosting.

With the partnership, Online Tech's clients gain access to the capabilities of an experienced PCI security firm.  High Bit has a number of certified security professionals that perform penetration testing and end-to-end Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) compliance services.  High Bit Security gains a world class, PCI compliant, SAS 70 data center partner for its security conscious customers.

"One of the greatest challenges associated with achieving Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards compliance is selecting partners experienced with the PCI certification process," said Adam Goslin, co-founder of High Bit Security.  High Bit and Online Tech have a history of delivering PCI compliant hosting together for a number of client applications over the last several years.

The benefit of the partnership is that both companies have the experiences to help their clients achieve PCI compliance, which means clients' money is spent on implementation rather than on preparation activities.

"The founders of High Bit Security and Online Tech have shared a positive multi-year relationship working on a number of PCI compliant hosting applications" said Mike Klein, president of Online Tech. "Cementing this relationship with a formal partnership was the next logical step."

Companies who secure their systems in a SAS-70 compliant data center like Online Tech, and engage the information security services of High Bit Security, can take comfort in a high level of assurance that their IT systems will meet or exceed PCI DSS physical and logical security requirements.
