Missing Wixom Man Found Dead

WIXOM (WWJ) - What was the case of a missing Wixom man is now a murder investigation.

The search for 24-year-old Leonard Graham, who disappears after leaving a party last Sunday, ended late Thursday.

That's when Southfield police were called out to an apartment on Franklin near Telegraph, finding evidence that a violent crime had occurred.

A short time later, said Lt. Nick Louisa of the Wixom Police Department,  "They were able to locate a deceased individual in a nearby wooded area.

"Based on a preliminary report, we believe that deceased individual is the missing person from Wixom," Louisa said.

Police have a suspect in custody — a 20-year old Detroit man who reportedly knew the victim. The suspect's name has not been released.

Police have not yet revealed a possible motive in the case.
