Mich. Woman Gets Prison Time In Warcraft Sex Case

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A Michigan woman who developed a sexual relationship with a teenage boy she met through an online game has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Buffalo says 35-year-old Angie Jenkins of Lowell, Mich. received an 87-month prison term Thursday and was ordered to pay $4,480 restitution to the Buffalo, N.Y., victim.

Jenkins pleaded guilty in federal court in April to receiving child pornography.

Investigators say Jenkins met the 15-year-old boy through the game World of Warcraft and traveled to Buffalo in 2010 to have sex with him in a parked car.

The boy's parents alerted authorities after noticing numerous out-of-state calls on his cell phone. Investigators later found graphic images they say he'd sent to Jenkins at her request.
