Matt Dery's Daily Update 3-25-11

Just one Big Ten team left in the NCAA Tournament and it's the favorite and top seeded Ohio State in the east regional semi final and they are set to take on Kentucky. Buckeyes are 34-2, yet Jon Diebler and the Bucks know that the young Wildcats can play. That one tips at 9:45 pm; the early game has Marquette facing North Carolina. In San Antonio the top seed is Kansas and the Jayhawks face Richmond and then two double digit seeds go at it, Florida State a 10 against 11th seeded VCU.

Pistons hit the road trying to win their first game away from the Palace since the All-Star break, they face the Cavs. The Cavs have won just 13 games all year. Cleveland gets Baron Davis back in the lineup tonight.

Jim Tressel could be in more trouble. The Ohio State coach reportedly caught in another lie as the Columbus dispatch reports that Tressel did in fact forward the emails he received about Terrelle Pryor's involvement in selling merchandise. Tressel then sent them to Pryor's mentor Ted Sarniak, Tressel has said he did not do anything with those emails and didn't address the situation until after the season.

Tigers and Braves tonight in Orlando, lefty Adam Wilk who is fighting for one of the last bullpen spots on the 25 man roster gets the start for Detroit.
