DETROIT (WWJ) - Federal agents have made in arrest in a bold heist at Greektown Casino in Detroit.
Authorities said a man dressed as a security guard simply walked up to an armored truck outside the casino, on Nov. 27, and walked away with an estimated $500,000. Police, at the time of the crime, said the robber was unarmed and no one was hurt.
Now, three weeks later, the suspect is behind bars.
FBI spokesperson Jill Washburn said the man was arrested at a home on Burlingame in Detroit. It's not clear at this time if he worked for the armored car company, Loomis, or what led investigators to him.
The man's name and other details about the case are not being released at this time.
