Lions Sign Veteran Wide Receiver Lance Moore

CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Lions have signed veteran wide receiver Lance Moore, the team announced Tuesday.
Moore played in 14 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season and totaled 14 receptions for 198 yards. He spent the first nine seasons of his career with the New Orleans Saints, the team with which Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi spent seven seasons before coming to Detroit.
In 2013, Moore hauled in 37 catches for 457 yards for the Saints. In 2012, Moore had the best season of his career, racking up 1,041 yards on 65 catches. Moore also returned punts for the Saints.
