Bob Quinn isn't playing any games. According to the NFL transactions wire, the team has cut running back Joique Bell, who has spent nearly his entire career in Detroit.

A local product from Michigan, Bell attended college at Detroit's Wayne State, before going undrafted and getting signed by the Colts.

Bell has spent the last five seasons with the Lions, accumulating 2,235 yards on 561 carries, including 90 for 311 this season.

Bell was a hot topic all season, after seemingly losing a step of quickness. He returned at the beginning of the season after a training camp knee injury, then sat out later down the road because of another injury. Playing in 13 games this year, Bell only started five. Rookie Ameer Abdullah - especially towards the end of the season - took most of Bell's carries.

In addition to Abdullah were Theo Riddick, who had a strong finish to the season especially after being utilized more when Jim Bob Cooter took over the play-calling, and Zach Zenner, who was showing flashes of production before cracking his ribs and puncturing a lung.
