Lions' New TE Ready To Make Plays
New Detroit Lions tight end Tony Scheffler said today he doesn't see a problem fitting in on a team that already has Brandon Pettigrew, a first-round pick in 2009.
"All great offenses have multiple weapons," Scheffler said. "It's up to the coaches — this great coaching staff here — to find places for guys and create opportunities. There's room for everybody that's here to make plays."
