Kilpatrick Facing Deposition In Stripper's Death
The deposition of ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in a civil suit filed by the family of slain exotic dancer Tamara "Strawberry" Greene is expected to wrap up today.
Kilpatrick is to be brought, once again, from a federal prison in Milan, Mich., to U.S. District Court in Detroit. He is to be questioned by Norman Yatooma, lawyer for Greene's three children. Greene's family says Kilpatrick stifled an investigation into her still-unsolved fatal shooting in 2003, which he denies. Greene is rumored to have performed at a private party at the Manoogian Mansion.
Kilpatrick also was questioned for several hours on July 29. His wife Carlita and father Bernard are expected to give depositions Thursday in Texas.
