Humane Society Looking For A Home For Dancer, Prancer And Santa Paws

It was a call that's all-too-common for Michigan Humane Society staffers -- puppies were left in an abandoned house.

Investigators found three tail wagging bundles of squirming yellow fur hanging out in the drive of an abandoned home.

They were hungry for snacks -- and cuddles.

The Humane Society gave them Christmas-worthy names in the hopes that someone will bring them home before the New Year.

They were then taken to the MHS Detroit Center for Animal Care, where they were examined by an MHS veterinarian, determined to be in good health and given vaccinations. They're considered corgi mixes.

In 2012, the MHS Rescue Department came to the aid of more than 4,000 animals who were sick, injured or in immediate danger in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. To help MHS rescue and care for more animals in need, call (855) MHS-GIVE or donate online at<
