Secure-24 Announces Executive Team Appointments to Lead Strategic Company Growth: Southfield-based Secure-24 named two high level appointments for leadership positions, including CFO Shawn Peralta and executive vice president of sales and marketing Mark Meyer. Peralta brings more than 25 years of progressive corporate financial experience in numerous industries including information technology. Shawn joins Secure-24 from TNG Worldwide, where he was CFO for the leading independent distributor of professional beauty products. Earlier, Peralta was vice president and corporate controller of Covansys, now CSC, a $450 million-revenue publicly traded IT services firm. There, he led multiple successful SAP implementations, an IPO and follow-on stock offering at Covansys, as well as multiple strategic acquisitions. Shawn is a CPA in Michigan and earned his bachelor of science in business administration from Wayne State University. Meyer was earlier regional director of managed applications in the western United States for AT&T. In that role, he led sales, business development, and an alliance team for AT&T's Hosting and Application Services portfolio. Earlier, he served in executive and senior director positions at The Hackett Group, Teletech, Ticketmaster, and Ford Motor Co. Mark earned his BBA in marketing at the University of Texas. Earlier in the fall of 2012, Mike Jennings was named Co-CEO. He brings more than 25 years of experience in information systems, business development, finance and manufacturing to Secure-24. Jennings was the co-founder, CTO and senior vice president of business development at Appshop, a leading provider of hosted Oracle application and database technology. Jennings also founded IT services company InfoSolutions and was a Principal at Simplify, an Oracle ERP consulting company. The new leadership team members join Secure-24's co-founders Matthias Horch (Co-CEO) and Volker Straub (COO), who both retain significant ownership in the company after Pamlico Capital made a growth equity investment in Secure-24. Epitec Adds New Exec Structure: Epitec Inc. has implemented a new structure for its executive team which will improve delivery of services to their customer base, expand new business and strengthen its support operations. Epitec utilized a manufacturing concept known as "swimlanes" to develop the new executive structure. Three swimlanes have been created: sales, new business development and operations. The three swimlanes help to visually clarify the overall layout of the company's processes and helps to optimize capacity and efficiency. Each Epitec Executive is responsible for critical functions within their own swimlane. As part of the new structure, Rebecca Bray has been promoted to Chief Sales Officer, also referred to as Chief Rainmaker. Bray is responsible for the Sales and Recruiting teams that support Epitec's existing client base; the Sales swimlane. She is also responsible for the oversight of Epitec's Recruiting Academy which continues to be the foundation for Epitec success. Mark Ruma has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer, also referred to as Chief Architect of Growth. Ruma is focusing on bolstering the business and technology infrastructure to support the company as it continues to expand both revenue growth and product lines across the country; the Support swimlane. Anthony Hollamon, executive vice president for Epitec, is responsible for new business development, human resources, and customer service.The new structure is timely because Epitec is vigorously working to match customer demand by hiring more than 600 technology resources in 2013 and hiring an additional 100 sales, recruiting, and back office support staff. InfuSystem Holdings Names Janet Skonieczny COO: Madison Heights-based InfuSystems Holdings Inc. (NYSE MKT: INFU) said this week it has named Janet Skonieczny, the company's vice president of operations and corporate compliance officer since 2007, has been named COO, effective immediately. She will report directly to InfuSystem's Interim CEOfficer, Dilip Singh. In this new corporate role, Skonieczny is responsible for the following: payor relationship management, including CMS competitive bidding; billing and claims management; supply chain management; customer service and clinical support; inventory and asset management; warehousing and logistics; and regulatory issues. Additionally, all of the company's operational functions for pump sales and rentals in Olathe, Kan. and Madison Heights will report directly to her. Skonieczny has also served as vice president of operations of InfuSystem Inc., the company's subsidiary, since 1998. She originally joined InfuSystem and its predecessor company, Venture Medical, in 1988. InfuSystem Holdings provides infusion pumps and related services to hospitals, oncology practices and other alternate site health care providers. More at

DRC-USGBC Announces Election Results, Welcomes New Board: The Detroit Regional Chapter of the US Green Building Council recently completed its nomination and balloting process to select the Board of Directors that will lead the organization for the next two years. Members of the DRC were invited to submit their votes prior to the deadline of Nov. 12 and the results are as follows: Jeff Gaines (existing board member) manager of planning and programming at Albert Kahn Family of Companies, LEED AP BD+C; Bob Mattler, director of green brokerage at Armada Real Estate Services in West Bloomfield Township, LEED AP BD+C; Kevin Mlutkowski (existing Board member), director of sustainability at the American Concrete Institute, LEED AP BD+C; Noah Wolfson, director of business development for Sachse Construction, LEED Green Associate; Teresa Sinelli, assistant construction manager at General Development Co., LEED AP BD+C. These new board members have been elected to serve on the U.S. Green Building Council Detroit Regional Chapter's Board of Directors for the years of 2013 and 2014. These members serve in addition to current seated board representatives Bob Stevenson, Jonathan Backos, Julie Lyons Bricker, David Norwood and Jacob Corvidae. The service terms of exiting Board Members Kim Rosseter, Rod Brown, Ronald Rivers, and Dan Jacobs have now come to a close, the Detroit Regional Chapter-USGBC wishes to express deep gratitude for their years of vision and dedication to the organization, and to green building practices across Southeast Michigan.
