At the end of the day, a hockey goalie has one job. He has to keep the puck out of the net he is protecting. Having said that, I know there are plenty of other jobs for the goalie, but at the end of the day the reason he's there is to protect his net by any means necessary.

David Zabolotny, of JKH GKS Jastrzebie from the Polish hockey league, made a critical mistake.

With his team losing 2-0 late in the game, he did the unthinkable. He managed to score on his own net. Sure, it happens when you're playing soccer at 4 years old, but at this stage in the game it's a heck of a bone-headed move. I bet he would give anything to hit the rewind button on this.
