GCC Servicing Systems' G/Teller Expands Access to Loan-Level Data
Southfield-based GCC Servicing Systems, a provider of mortgage servicing technology, has launched G/Teller, which gives branch tellers, loan officers and other internal staff access to loan level information.
Through a Web interface with GCC's G/Serv loan servicing platform, G/Teller was designed to provide access to specific loan-level data for branch tellers.
With information at their fingertips, such as payment history and escrow and tax statuses, tellers are able to answer customer questions, as well as receive and apply borrowers' payments without having full access to the servicing system. Loan officers, internal staff and private investors can also use the interface to view data for review and inquiry purposes.
"G/Teller empowers branch tellers to provide thorough and convenient customer service," said Glenn Liebowitz, president of GCC. "Borrowers visiting the branch will receive answers to simple questions faster because more branch employees can help them. Data security and accuracy is ensured because these additional employees only have access to certain areas of the servicing platform."
GCC's G/Serv is a comprehensive platform that automates all functions of loan servicing, including loan set-up, cash management, escrow and insurance administration, investor reporting and accounting, default management and federal and state reporting.
GCC Servicing Systems was founded in 1977 as a mortgage service bureau and was known as Glenn Computer Corp. until 2003. Today, GCC Servicing Systems customers include mortgage servicing departments of banks, credit unions and mortgage companies with 500 to one million loans.
