SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Todd Courser is looking to add a new moniker these days.
The former state Representative is bringing his brand of conservative talk to the airwaves.
Courser will be hosting a one-hour show on Superstation 910AM Saturday afternoons.
Courser, a Republican who came into office with tea party backing, left office in disgrace after a botched attempt to cover-up an affair with Republican Representative Cindy Gamrat. He resigned last year in order to avoid expulsion over the issue. The House expelled Gamrat.
Undaunted by the Michigan State Police investigation into misconduct in office -- Courser and Gamrat ran unsuccessfully for their former House seats.
While still facing criminal charges in connection with the above scandal -- Courser announced his run for Lapeer County prosecutor last week.
Mort Meisner, spokesman for Superstation 910AM told WWJ that the Lapeer-area Republican will host the radio show on Saturdays taking calls from listeners and "talking about inside politics, why he's running for prosecutor and the heavy-handedness by his own party as a freshman Representative."
Courser's first hour-long show is this Saturday at 4 p.m.
