Ford Field Hosts Thanksgiving Parade "Friend-Raiser" With Vanilla Ice, MKTO (Video)

DETROIT (CBS Radio) - Families, dignitaries and business leaders donned their best Friday for the Hob Nobble Gobble black-tie fundraising event at the Ford Field.
The 25th event, which was presented by Ford Motor Company featured carnival rides, a variety of food stations and performances by Vanilla Ice and MKTO.
"Hob Nobble Gobble is a friend-raiser and fundraiser," said Tony Michaels, president & CEO of The Parade Company. "We bring the entire parade family together, the sponsors, the contributors and all of Detroit to celebrate, and it helps the parade foundation."
The Hob Nobble Gobble is the "s premier fundraising event" for The Parade Company, which is the creator and producer of America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van and Ford Fireworks.
In addition to the headliners, attendees were entertained by John Cassidy, who created intricate balloon designs, along with performances by The Fred Hill Briefcase Drill Team, Fifty Amp Fuse, and a Parade of stars featuring dancing elves, the Detroit Public Schools All City High School March Band and Santa Claus.
"It is an honor to come out and be a part of the parade and festivities," said Vanilla Ice, after his performance. "Everybody out here is all smiles, and smiles are contagious."
