Eye-Popping Body Art At Weekend Expo

DETROIT (WWJ) - Looking for something a bit different to do this weekend? Hundreds of tattoo artists are at the Marriott Hotel at the Renaissance Center for the 16th Annual Motor City Tattoo Expo.

WWJ's Marie Osborne reports that what you see at this event is eye-popping -- and, what you don't see can only be as good as your imagination.

Heather, from Skinfinity in Winterhaven, Florida said she's had plenty of unusual requests for tattoo designs in her career. 

Including one man who wanted a frog tattooed in a very private place.

"I'm a registered nurse, so it didn't worry me. He was a little more embarrassed than I was. He did well!"

So, did it hurt? "Of course... yes, it hurt," she said.
