Merit Participating In National Workshop: Elwood Downing, vice president of member relations, services and communications, will be participating in a panel discussion on best practices at the National Telecommunications & Information Administration Broadband Technology Opportunities Program Workshop in Chicago on Friday, June 25. Merit Network was invited to present information on their communication and outreach initiatives for the Merit REACH-3MC ARRA funded project. NTIA's feedback on the Merit communication plan for REACH-3MC has been very positive and led to the invitation to present the plan to others who have been awarded BTOP grants in other states. Awardees from other organizations will also present best practices in other aspects of managing BTOP grant projects. More at www.merit.edu.
