EcoV Electric Showcased At Michigan Energy Fair
St. Clair-based Environmental Transportation Solutions will be showcasing the EcoV, a zero emission all-electric low speed vehicle, at the Fifth Annual Michigan Energy Fair, June 25-27 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi.
Hosted by the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association, the Energy Fair focuses educating the public about renewable energy and providing networking opportunities for those in the sustainable energy industry. EcoV is a road-worthy private use or commercial vehicle which costs just $12,000 well-equipped and has a 25 to 40 mile range, with extended capacity to 65 miles. It recharges for just 50 cents from any standard wall outlet (110v or 220v AC), which means no high-power charging infrastructure is needed to support use.

Designed and road-tested over the last five years, EcoV uses over 80 percent current, proven components from automotive and industrial applications and is a long-life vehicle that is virtually maintenance free. With a full steel frame and chassis, including a full roll cage, the EcoV exceeds Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and offers more protection in accidents than other LSVs. EcoV is made in America and designed using highly skilled automotive expertise.
Built as a family of vehicles on a modular and easy-access design, EcoV can be easily customized for a number of specific needs. EcoV models include 4 and 6 passenger vehicles (with a flip down rear seat for additional cargo space), utility trucks, pick-up trucks, or delivery vehicles, with a flat-bed trunk or enclosed cargo space. Fully enclosed with heating and ventilation capabilities, EcoV also has optional air conditioning to provide additional comfort.
EcoV is a 25 mph street legal all electric low speed vehicle (LSV) that is roadworthy with automotive ride, comfort, and reliability while offering a safe driving experience on public roads. Not a glorified golf cart, the EcoV can be used to drive on public roads 35mph and slower, and for urban private, commercial and fleet use.
