Dodge Ball Game Fun, But Not A Record
DETROIT (WWJ) - They didn't make it... but those who turned out on Belle Isle Saturday to try to stage the world's largest dodge ball game say they are glad they came.
Deonte Lucas was among the last to stay in the game.
"I got hit by one of my collegues, a person that I know hit me, and I was one of the last 15 on our side," said Lucas.When we get back to our van, said Lucas, there may be a little payback.
Organizers say they got about half of the nearly 3,500 people needed to smash the world record.
