Detroit Teen Goes Missing After Argument With Mother

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Authorities are on the lookout for a teen girl who went missing from her home in Detroit on Friday.

Nya Wilson, 16, left her home in the 20200 block of Waltham -- near Eight Mile Rd. and Goulburn Ave. on the city's northeast side -- at around 1 p.m. after a disagreement with her mother and has not returned home or made contact with any family since.

Police describe Wilson as a black female, 5-foot-5 and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Wilson was last seen wearing a black/gray hat and a gray sweater. She needs medication and she does not have it with her.
