Detroit Police Issue Warning About Serial Rapist
Detroit Police are warning women on the city's northeast side to be on the lookout for a serial rapist, who's been terrorizing the neighborhood since January 2nd.
Detroit Police have not released the number of victims, but say the M.O. is almost always the same: women between the ages of 19 and 22 walking alone between 10pm and 6am, and being forced into the car of the rapist and then driven to an isolated area where they're attacked.
In one case, the man bumped into a car driven by a woman, and when she got out, he forced her into his vehicle at gunpoint.
Women are being told to avoid walking alone, and if they are bumped by another car while driving, they should head for the nearest police station.
