Detroit-Area Man With Child Porn Home Studio Gets 50 Years
MELVINDALE, Mich. (AP) - A Detroit-area man who kept child pornography in a home with hidden rooms and secret passages has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison.
At age 59, Charles Miller's punishment likely will be a life sentence. He appeared in federal court Thursday, a few months after getting a prison sentence in state court for criminal sexual conduct against children.
The Detroit News quotes federal agents as describing Miller's Melvindale home as a child porn production studio.
The investigation began two years ago when officers found guns at the ex-convict's home. They also discovered false walls, hidden rooms, cameras and child porn.
