Dearborn Woman Killed, Child Hurt In Crash
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Dearborn police are investigating a crash that killed a 42-year-old woman.
It happened just before 8 a.m. Wednesday as she drove along Outer Drive near Willow St. and the Southfield Freeway.
Police said the Dearborn woman's car was hit by an SUV driven by a 35-year old Dearborn man.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Also in the car was the woman's 12-year-old daughter who was taken to Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing, but police believe the collision was accidental and drugs no alcohol were involved.
No names have been released.
